VERY IMPT INFO FOR NUS GC 2011

Time: 8am to 2pm

Dress Code: School Uniform ( for identification purposes)

Rough Time-line for GC 2011

745am: Registration will begin
830am: All students are expected to be seated in the LT 11
9am: All students will be ushered to their respective LTs
915am: MCQ + structured paper starts
1045am: MCQ+ structured paper ends
11am: students will be dismissed for buffet brunch
12pm: AQ will start
1pm: AQ ends and students will be dismissed back to LT 11
2pm: dismissal

What to bring:

-5 Different Colours (very impt)
Can be any kind of colour - colour pencils, felt tip markers, crayons, watercolour.. --- if they can dry, it's up to the students to do what they want.
-Identification cards as well

Payment: A booth will be set up inside the Earth-lab where schools can make their payments and collect their receipts for claiming purposes

Exam Format:

1st part of MCQ- 34 questions of which students will be tested on both physical and human aspects of Geography ( in general)
Structured questions- 2 questions ( 1 physical geog qn and 1 human geog qn )

Application Question (AQ)- will be based on the theme of tourism
Note: This section is merely a test of the students' creativity and ability to apply concepts learnt in school. Please do not panic.

***** Buffet Brunch will be provided (no worries about stomachs growling halfway though it's advised that students should have breakfast before reporting to NUS for GC)*****
